Large-scale greenfield re-zoning
Tattico provided planning advice and services to Lomai Properties relating to the Waipupuke Plan Change. This private plan change sought to rezone 56 hectares of Future Urban Zoned land in Drury West. The proposed zoning included 2.02 hectares of Business – Neighbourhood Centre zone, 27.52 hectares of Residential – Terrace Housing and Apartment Buildings zone, 21.2 hectares of Residential – Mixed Housing Urban zone and 4.79 hectares for the development of an open space network. The plan change also introduced a new precinct to the Auckland Unitary Plan (Operative in Part) to manage the future layout of main roads, enable the development of a Medical and Specialist Facility in the Neighbourhood Centre zone, add additional amenity-related standards, enable building height, introduce more flexible activity rules for the underlying zones and add standards relating to the management of stormwater, streams and riparian margins.
