Ferry Terminal Upgrade (85-89 Quay Street, Queens Wharf)

Upgrade of the existing downtown ferry terminal

Tattico advised and assisted Auckland Transport in obtaining resource consent to remove Piers 3 and 4 and to construct, operate and maintain six new ferry berths within the Downtown Ferry Basin at Queens Wharf.

This is the biggest upgrade to Auckland’s ferry infrastructure and passenger services in more than a century to meet Auckland’s transport needs now and into the future. It has improved accessibility and greater operational flexibility, which is needed, as the number of people travelling on ferry services is expected to increase by up to 50% from the 6 million people a year that currently use them.
